Raised in Omaha, Jackie graduated from Northwest High School and received the Pacesetter Leadership Scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).
Jackie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Public Administration from UNO.
Jackie spent 13 years in nonprofits working with low-income families, at-risk youth, drunk driving victims, and people fighting cystic fibrosis.
Bringing communities together is Jackie's expertise. She has coordinated partnerships with nonprofits, law-enforcement and government agencies, local businesses, healthcare organizations, faith-based groups, and more.
After living in Austin, TX for 8 years and learning new ways to approach community challenges, Jackie returned to her roots in Omaha.
Jackie has volunteered for numerous organizations including: the YMCA, Omaha Public Library, Hattie B. Munroe Pavilion, Austin Marathon, Nike Human Race, Lights. Camera. Help., Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, MiniDonations, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
A Teammates mentor, Jackie looks forward to continuing her mentor/mentee relationship with a student at Edison Elementary.
She is a previous board member of Crime Victims First and is also a member of the League of Women Voters, Loveland Neighborhood Association, ACLU, and the Omaha Metro Area Humanist Association.
Jackie is a life-long learner. She is a self-taught Salesforce.com administrator who understands the challenges and rewards of pursuing new career endeavors.
Her current role as an IT Project Manager requires her to listen to the needs of others and create innovative business solutions using a variety of technological tools.
