  • Raised in Omaha, Jackie graduated from Northwest High School and received the Pacesetter Leadership Scholarship to the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).

  • Jackie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Public Administration from UNO.

  • Jackie spent 13 years in nonprofits working with low-income families, at-risk youth, drunk driving victims, and people fighting cystic fibrosis.

  • Bringing communities together is Jackie's expertise. She has coordinated partnerships with nonprofits, law-enforcement and government agencies, local businesses, healthcare organizations, faith-based groups, and more.

  • After living in Austin, TX for 8 years and learning new ways to approach community challenges, Jackie returned to her roots in Omaha.

  • Jackie has volunteered for numerous organizations including: the YMCA, Omaha Public Library, Hattie B. Munroe Pavilion, Austin Marathon, Nike Human Race, Lights. Camera. Help., Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, MiniDonations, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

  • A Teammates mentor, Jackie looks forward to continuing her mentor/mentee relationship with a student at Edison Elementary.

  • She is a previous board member of Crime Victims First and is also a member of the League of Women Voters, Loveland Neighborhood Association, ACLU, and the Omaha Metro Area Humanist Association.

  • Jackie is a life-long learner.  She is a self-taught Salesforce.com administrator who understands the challenges and rewards of pursuing new career endeavors.

  • Her current role as an IT Project Manager requires her to listen to the needs of others and create innovative business solutions using a variety of technological tools.
